abstract Procedure to increase the synthesis and accumulation of natural hydrocarbons derived from terpenoid metabolism in the euphorbia lathyris plant. # Procedure to obtain biomass enriched in triterpenes, characterized in that it comprises treating the Euphorbia lathyris plant with at least one jasmonate, preferably methyl jasmonate. As well as the biomass enriched in triterpenes obtained by said procedure, its use as a source of energy fuel and method of obtaining said fuel.
