abstract Forestry preventive system to reduce and extinguish fires. # This system constitutes an environmentally positive firewall, whose purpose is to reduce and extinguish fires. It is characterized by presenting a structured sequence of vegetation patterns, together with useful and minor interventions in the field, in order to regulate, guide and control humidity, constituting an effective fire barrier. Vegetation patterns are formed by: an area called a collector / rib (1), an area called windbreak (2); a zone called regrowth (3); a zone called paving (4); an area called green hedge (5); an area called high green hedge (6) and an area called reforestation (7), all based on different and appropriate plant species.
