titleOfInvention | Analytical test strip with sample display screen with minimum filling error |
abstract | An analytical test strip (10) comprising: a substrate (12); an enzyme reagent layer (18); a top layer (24) disposed on the enzyme reagent layer (18), the top layer (24) having a first portion (24a) and a second opaque portion (24b); and a sample receiving chamber (26) defined in the analytical test strip, the receiving chamber demonstrating (26) a working portion and a non-working portion; characterized in that: the working portion is that portion of the receiving chamber of sample that must be filled with a sample to allow precise results during the use of the analytical test strip (10), and the portion that is not working is configured to contain a remaining volume of sample that is not necessary to allow precise results during use of the analytical test strip (10), in which the first portion (24a) and the second opaque portion (24b) of the upper layer (24) are configured so that the user can visualize the working portion of the receiving chamber demonstrates (26) through the first portion (24a) of the upper layer (24) and prevents the non-working portion of the sample receiving chamber (26) from being displayed before the second opaque portion (24b) of the upper layer (24), so that the user can easily verify by visualization when a sample has completely filled the working portion. |
