A method for preparing an oxazinone compound represented by the following structural formula: wherein R1 is (a) absent or (b) is selected from optionally substituted (C1-C6) alkyl, optionally substituted (C2-C6) alkenyl, (C2) alkynyl -C6) optionally substituted, optionally substituted (C1-C3) alkoxy, or optionally substituted (C1-C3) alkoxy (C1-C3) alkyl; E is (a) a bond or (b) alkylene ( C1-C3) or (C1-C2) alkoxy, in which O is attached to R2, each of which is optionally substituted with 1 to 4 groups independently selected from methyl, ethyl, trifluoromethyl or oxo; R2 is selected from (C1 -C6) optionally substituted, optionally substituted aryl, optionally substituted heteroaryl, optionally substituted cycloalkyl or optionally substituted heterocyclyl; R3 is selected from optionally substituted (C1-C6) alkyl, optionally substituted (C2-C6) alkenyl, optionally substituted (C2-C6) alkynyl , cycloalkyl (C3 -C5) optionally substituted (C1-C4) alkyl, optionally substituted (C1-C3) alkoxy and optionally substituted (C1-C3) alkoxy (C1-C3) alkyl; A1 is (a) a bond, or (b) (C1-C3) alkylene, CH2CH2O, in which the oxygen is bound to CY1; |
