abstract | Synthesis procedure of ω-amino-alkanoic acids or their esters from mono-unsaturated natural fatty acids characterized in that in a first stage the mono-unsaturated natural fatty acid is transformed with the following general formula R- (CH2 ) m -CH> = CH- (CH2) p-COOH, in which R is either H or CH3, m is an index with a value between 0 and 11, and p an index with a value between 2 and 13, in α-ω-diacid or unsaturated diester either by homometathesis, or by fermentation, then in a second stage the α-ω-diacid or unsaturated diester formed is subjected to an oxidative cleavage reaction to form one or two α-ω-aldehyde-acid or ester different from the general formula CHO- (CH2) n-COOH, in which n is equal to amy / op, and finally to transform the resulting product by reductive amination into ω-amino acid of formula NH2- (CH2) n + 1-COOH. |
