| abstract | A resistance spot welder comprising: a motor (3), which has a shaft (15); a cylindrical housing (7); a hollow guide bar (6), inserted into the housing and adapted to move linearly for the movement of a first electrode tip (E1) facing a second electrode tip (E2) provided in a gun arm (8 ); a ball nut (5), fixed to an inner circumference of the guide bar (6); a ball screw (4), adjusted through the ball nut (5); and a coupling (12), which includes a first fixing part (17) in which the motor shaft (15) is inserted (3) and a second fixing part (16) into which the spindle is inserted balls (4) and that is in opposition to the first fixing part (17); wherein the guide bar (6) moves between a first point that is a motor side and a second point that is a side of the electrode tip and when the guide bar (6) is positioned at the first point , the guide bar (6) houses at least a part of the second fixing part (16), characterized by a bearing (19), fitted between an outer circumference of the first fixing part (17) and an inner circumference of the housing (7), the inner circumference of the guide bar (6) is not larger in diameter than the outer circumference of the first fixing part (17), and the inner circumference of the guide bar (6) is not smaller in diameter than an outer circumference of the second fixing part (16). |
