A method of using a medical fluid injection assembly (50) that includes an electromagnetic device (104b) that functions to read data from and / or write data to an RF data card (60b) of a medical fluid container (20b ), the method comprising: arranging a medical fluid in the container, in which the medical fluid comprises a material that interferes with the electromagnetic signals; arranging the container in contact with the medical fluid injection assembly so that the RF data card of the container is located near an antenna system (229b) of the electromagnetic device and so that the material is disposed between the RF data card and the antenna system of the electromagnetic device; and at least one of the electromagnetic reading of the data and the electromagnetic writing of the data on the RF data card of the container using the electromagnetic device and the antenna system thereof, in which the at least one of the electromagnetic reading of the data and electromagnetic data writing is achieved while the material is disposed between the RF data card and the antenna system, and in which the antenna system comprises a first and second antenna loops (220, 222), the method comprising additionally: electrically connect the first and second antenna loops in an antenna configuration; and emit electromagnetic signals from said antenna configuration to attempt at least one of the electromagnetic reading of the data from and the electromagnetic writing of the data on the RF data card. |
