A rubber composition comprising not less than 20 parts by mass of a reinforcing filler substance (B) and 5 to 60 parts by mass of a copolymer (C) of aromatic compound of low pesomolecular vinyl-conjugated diene compound which it has an aromatic vinyl compound content of 5 to 80% enmasa, a vinyl bond content in the conjugated diene compound part of 10 to 80% by mass and an average molecular weight expressed in weight measured through permeability chromatography gel and converted into polystyrene of more than 50,000 to less than 150,000, based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (A) and containing no more than 10% by mass of the polymer rubber based on conjugated and modified diene that has at least a functional group |
