The use of an infrared attenuating agent, to provide improved dimensional integrity at elevated temperatures in the production of an extruded polymer foam, comprising a polymer composition having defined cells therein, in which the polymer composition contains styrene-acrylonitrile polymer, and the amount of polymerized acrylonitrile in the polymer composition is one percent or more weight, based on the weight of the polymer composition. |
