New strains of duganella isolated from the rhizosphere of wild and cultivated olive and its use in the production of violacein. # The present invention relates to bacterial strains of Duganella spp. obtained from the rhizosphere of wild and cultivated olive trees. Preferably the strains are CECT 7779, CECT 7780 and CECT 7781 and more preferably the bacterial strain is CECT 7780. Furthermore, the present invention relates to its combinations with other microorganisms and to the compositions comprising the above products, as well as to a process for the production of violacein and the violacein produced for its biotechnological and agronomic application. |
