abstract | A compound of formula I: or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof, wherein: Q is 5 oxygen or sulfur; X is> = C (R4c)> = or N> =; R1 is C1-C6 alkyl , substituted C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl, substituted C3-C7 cycloalkyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl-C1-C3 alkyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl-substituted C1-C3 alkyl, phenyl, substituted phenyl, heterocycle or heterocycle substituted; R2 is hydrogen, C1-C3 alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluorine substituents, C3-C6 cycloalkyl-C1-C3 alkyl or a group of formula IIR3 is hydrogen or C1-C3 alkyl; R4a and R4b are independently hydrogen, halogen or C1 alkyl -C4 optionally substituted with one or three fluorine substituents; when X is -C (R4c)> =, R4c is hydrogen, halogen or C1-C4 alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluorine substituents; R5 is hydrogen or C1-C3 alkyl optionally substituted with one to three fluorine substituents; R6 is hydrogen or optionally substituted C1-C3 alkyl with one to three fluorine substituents, provided that R6 may be C1-C3 alkyl only when R5 20 is different from hydrogen; R7 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl optionally substituted with one to three halogen substituents; and R7 is hydrogen or C1-C6 alkyl optionally substituted with one to three halogen substituents; and n is an integer from 1 to 6, inclusive; in which it is understood that the term "heterocycle" means a saturated or unsaturated 5- or 6-membered ring containing 1 to 3 heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur, said ring being optionally benzo-condensed, the term "substituted alkyl, cycloalkyl or cycloalkylalkyl" means an alkyl, cycloalkylalkyl alkyl group, respectively, substituted one or more times independently with a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, hydroxyl and C1-C3 alkoxy; the terms "substituted phenyl" and "substituted heterocycle" are considered to mean that the cyclic moiety in one or another case is substituted with one or more halogen substituents, preferably one to five, each independently selected; or substituted with one or more substituents, preferably one to two substituents, independently selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy, C1-C4 alkylthio, cyano and nitro, in which each alkyl substituent, alkoxy and alkylthio may be further substituted independently with C1-C2 alkoxy or with one to five halogen groups selected from fluorine and chlorine; or substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of enfenyloxy, benzyloxy, phenylthio, benzylthio and pyrimidinyloxy, wherein the phenyloxy, benzyloxy, phenylthio, benzylthio and pyrimidinyloxy moiety may be further substituted with one to two substituents selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C2 alkyl and C1-C2 alkoxy; or substituted with a substituent selected from the group consisting of C1-C4 acyl and C1-C4 alkoxycarbonyl, and additionally substituted with zero to a substituent selected from the group consisting of halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkoxy and C1-alkylthio -C4. |
