Antisense oligonucleotides selected from SEQ ID NO 3 and elongated sequences of SEQ ID NO.3 which can be represented by the following general formula: 5'-XCAGCCCCCGACCCATGZ-3 'wherein X is selected from the group comprising the following oligonucleotides: and in where Z is chosen from the group comprising the following oligonucleotides: and where X and Z together do not comprise more than 34 nucleobases where said oligonucleotides are capable of sufficiently hybridizing with the region that encompasses the translation start of the open reading frame delgen which encodes TGF-Rii and the salts and optical isomers of said sequence. |
