abstract |
A method of making an endoluminal stent graft, including the steps of: placing a first cover element composed of a biocompatible polymer on a surface having a configuration of elevated regions (32); placing a radially expandable stent (46) on said first cover element in alignment with said configuration (34); placing a second cover element composed of a biocompatible polymer on said stent-column device (36); applying pressure to push said first cover and said second cover element into intimate contact through holes in the stent and in correspondence with the configuration (38); and heating the cover elements to form a link configuration between the cover elements (42), said link configuration corresponding to the elevated region configuration. |
