abstract |
Method for transfecting a mammalian cell in vitro comprising the method: (a) providing a mammalian cell that expresses a target gene, the mammalian cell being alive and capable of phagocytosis; and (b) exposing the live mammalian cell to a composition comprising an apoptotic cell, the apoptotic cell comprising an antigen and an RNAi molecule, the apoptotic cell being used as a delivery vehicle for the RNAi molecule, the molecule being capable RNAi of negatively regulating the target gene in the live mammalian cell, under conditions whereby the apoptotic cell is captured by the living mammalian cell. |
