abstract | A method for cleaning a tableware with a mild-acting liquid detergent composition comprising a polymer with amphiphilic grafts; said process comprising the steps of applying said composition on said tableware, wherein said polymer is a random graft copolymer having a hydrophilic main chain comprising monomers selected from the group consisting of unsaturated C2-6 acids, ethers, alcohols, aldehydes , ketones or esters, sugar units, alkoxy units, maleic anhydride and saturated polyalcohols such as glycerol, and mixtures thereof, and hydrophobic secondary chains selected from the group comprising a C4-25 alkyl group, polypropylene; polybutylene, a vinyl ester of a saturated monocarboxylic acid containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; a C1-6 alkyl ester of an acrylic or methacrylic acid; and a mixture thereof, and wherein the composition further comprises from 0.01% to 10% by weight of the composition of an alkoxylated polyethyleneimine polymer comprising a polyethyleneimine main chain having a weight average molecular weight of about 400 to about 10,000 and the alkoxylated polyethyleneimine polymer further comprises: (1) one or two modifications by alkoxylation per nitrogen atom of the main polyethyleneimine chain by a polyalkoxylene chain having an average of 1 to 30 alkoxy moieties per modification , wherein the alkoxyterminal moiety of the alkoxylation modification is terminally protected with hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or mixtures thereof; (2) a substitution of a C1-C4 alkyl moiety or a benzyl moiety and one or two modifications by alkoxylation by nitrogen atom of the main polyethyleneimine chain by a polyalkoxylene chain having an average of 1 to 40 alkoxy residues per modification in which the alkoxyterminal moiety is terminally protected with hydrogen, a C1-C4 alkyl or mixtures thereof; or (3) a combination thereof. |
