Method for the production of a biodegradable nonwoven fabric comprising the steps of: extruding a plurality of continuous filaments from a row; stretching said filaments by means of a stretching unit located at a predetermined distance below the row to provide a force on said filaments by application of air to the stretching unit; depositing said filaments on a collection surface to form a nonwoven fabric; use an aliphatic-aromatic copolyester in said extruder as the material for the filaments. |
