abstract |
A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising an aluminum support having a hydrophilic surface and a coating applied on the support, wherein the coating comprises a photopolymerizable composition containing a polymerizable compound, a pigment dispersed by a dispersant, a polymerization initiator and a binder, characterized in that the dispersant is a compound that does not contain -COOH, -PO3H2 or -OPO3H2 groups and that the polymerization initiator is a trihalomethyl-aryl sulfone, in which the aryl group is substituted by al less an electron donor group and in which the sum of the Hammett constants (sigma) of the substituent groups on the aryl group has a negative value. |
