A microorganism that degrades estrogenic substances in which the microorganism is one or more microorganisms belonging to the following group: Pseudaminobacter salicylatoxidans strain TAA-I3 (FERM BP-10519) Gordonia terrae strain TAI-I5 (FERM BP-10521) Zoogloea sp. strain ATM-I1 (FERM BP-10523) Cryptococcus sp. strain TMN-Y2 (FERM BP-10525) Trichosporon loubieri strain FF-Y2 (FERM BP-10526), and which has the ability to degrade an estrogenic substance selected from 17β-estradiol, estrone and estriol. |
