abstract |
A method for investigating the fate of a test compound containing at least one active NMR core, wherein said active NMR core is 13C and said test compound is an organic compound 13C comprising an artificially enriched abundance of at abundance of at least 5%, said procedure comprising: - administering the test compound to a biological system in which its destiny is to be studied, in which said system is an integral animal, - hyperpolarizing the active NMR nuclei in samples taken from the system at time intervals by polarization transfer using solid nuclear dynamic polarization (PND) by a PND agent; and - analyze each of the hyperpolarized samples by means of NMR-13C spectroscopy in a liquid state. |
