Integrated, automatic microfluidic device comprising: a chemical reaction chip comprising: a substrate comprising a microfluidic network of flow channels; and a cylindrical reaction chamber having a diameter ratio with respect to height greater than about 3 and comprising at least one inlet and one outlet channel, the reaction chamber being configured to be in fluid communication with at least a flow channel; characterized by: a ventilation hole comprising at least two open ends and configured to be adjacent to the reaction chamber for evaporation of solvent from the reaction chamber, the ventilation hole comprising a radiator of channels separated from the reaction chamber by a gas permeable membrane. |
