abstract Method for making, on regions (12) of the surface of a stent (1), a deposit of an active substance (M), comprising the operations of: - supplying said active substance (M) in the form of paste and - depositing said active substance (M) in paste form on said regions (12) of the surface of the stent (1), characterized in that it further comprises the operation of: - exposing the stent (1), with said active substance (M) deposited in paste form on said regions (12) of the surface of the stent (1), to a stabilization treatment of said active substance (M) in paste form to supply the adhesion of said active substance to said regions (12) from the surface of the stent, wherein said stabilization treatment of said active substance (M) is selected from the group consisting of: - exposure to a temperature of approximately 65 ° C; - immersion in solvent for controlled periods of time; - exposure to solvent spray; - exposure to solvent vapors and - lyophilization, and in which the stent is not provided with any additional coating or cover of any kind on the surface of the stent, and because the solvent is a solvent for the active substance.
