abstract | Surface of miniaturized horizontal flat corrugations, and antenna and circuit surrounded by said surface. # Refers to an artificial surface formed by miniaturized flat horizontal corrugations, which allows to eliminate or reduce the propagation of electromagnetic waves in the substrate (2) of antennas and circuits printed and improve their performance. Said surface is based on the use of new topologies for the metal strip (5) that forms the corrugation, these geometries consist of folded lines coupled, elements type? Hairpin ?, palm type or spiral type. These geometries allow a reduction in the size of the corrugations and the incorporation of a sufficient number of them to obtain the desired effect, and this compatible with compact devices. |
