abstract |
The present invention provides an electrolyte composition for a dye-sensitized solar cell, and the electrolyte composition includes from 2 to 25% by weight of an organic amine hydroiodide; from 2 to 25% by weight of an imidazolium salt; 0.5 to 5% by weight of iodine; 1 to 5% by weight of guanidine thiocyanate; from 2 to 15% by weight of a benzimidazole derivative, a pyridine derivative or a combination thereof; and from 50 to 92.5% by weight of a solvent, in addition to a solar cell sensitized with dye, including a photo anode, a cathode having a surface in contact with the photo anode; and an electrolyte layer formed on the cathode surface. |
