| abstract | Method for the preparation of the radioactive tracer 3'-Deoxy-3 '- [18 F] fluortimidine ([18 F] FLT), comprising the following steps: a) Preparation of [18 F] F-fluoride anhydrous; b) Marking of a precursor, for example 3-N-Boc-1- [5'-O- (4,4'-dimethoxytrityl) -3'-O-nitrophenylsulfonyl-2'deoxy-β-D-lixofuranosyl] thymidine ; c) Hydrolysis of the mixture obtained through the previous phases; d) Purification of the mixture to obtain the radioactive tracer [18 F] FLT, in which phases a), b) and c) are carried out by means of known procedures, the procedure being characterized in that the mixture obtained after the phase c) is purified by passing through a vented filter and one or more cartridges of the cation exchange rate (for example, a Cromafix PS-H +), one or more cartridges of the reverse phase type, and finally a passage through either alumina N type cartridges, or diol cartridges, or anion exchange cartridges or a combination thereof, and because the mixture with that presented in the cartridges is diluted with H2O for injection, whereby the resulting product is sent to a container or blister for the collection of [18 F] FLT. |
