titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE COATING OF METAL SURFACES WITH A WATERY COMPOSITION CONTAINING SILANO / SILANOL / SILOXANO, AND THIS COMPOSITION. |
abstract | Process for coating metal surfaces with an aqueous composition containing silane / silanol / siloxane / polysiloxane, the composition being composed essentially a) based on at least one compound a) selected from silanes, silanoles, siloxanes and polysiloxanes, the composition having a silane / silanol / siloxane / polysiloxane content in the range of 0.02 to 1 g / l, calculated on the basis of the corresponding silanoles, and b) based on at least two compounds b) selected from compounds containing titanium, hafnium, zirconium, aluminum or / and boron, the composition having a content of compounds b) in the range of 0.1 to 15 g / l, calculated as the sum of the corresponding metals, containing the composition at least two complex fluorides selected from the complex fluorides of aluminum, boron, titanium, hafnium and zirconium, as well as, eventually, c) based on at least one type of selected cations ados between metal cations of the secondary groups 1st through 3rd and 5th through 8th, including lanthanides as well as cations from the 2nd main group of the periodic system of the elements or / and based on at least one corresponding compound, the composition having a content of cations or / and corresponding compounds c) which is in the range of 0.01 to 6 g / l, d) based on at least one organic compound selected from monomers, oligomers, polymers, copolymers and block copolymers, the ratio referring to the weight of the compounds a) constituted on the basis of silane / silanol / siloxane / polysiloxane calculated on the basis of the corresponding silanoles, to the organic compounds d), calculated as the addition of solid materials in the composition, being situated, in the range of 1: 0.05 to 1: 12, provided that organic compounds d), or / and e) are added at least one substance that influences the pH value as well as f) water-based and g) optionally based on at least one organic solvent. |
