abstract |
A feline immunodeficiency virus (VIF) cell culture, comprising at least one host cell infected with FIV and an amount promoting the growth of an antibiotic consisting essentially of neomycin, present in an amount of 20 micrograms / ml to 60 micrograms / ml of said culture, or a biologically compatible salt or derivative thereof, and in which the antibiotic increases the density of the cell culture by at least about 20% on a cell culture of host cells infected with lentiviruses containing nothing of said antibiotic. |
