titleOfInvention EXPANSIBLE STENT WITH AN ELASTOMERIC COVER FREE OF FOLDINGS.
abstract A diametrically expandable stent graft comprising a self-expanding stent (63) provided with a graft cover (62) on at least a portion of the stent (63), wherein said stent (63) has a compacted diameter to be inserted into a body duct and self-expanding after the release of the compacted diameter to a fully deployed diameter, and an intermediate diameter between the compacted diameter and the fully deployed diameter, the intermediate diameter varying between about 50% and about 90% of the diameter completely deployed, and in which the graft cover (62) is formed with the intermediate diameter, such that the graft cover (62) is substantially free of folds in diameters ranging from the intermediate diameter to the fully deployed expanded diameter.
