Procedure to analyze sterols in oilsngroceries.n n n The invention defines a method fornanalyze the total sterols in edible oils that it comprisesnthe stages of:n n n (a) submit the unsaponifiable fraction of thenHigh performance liquid chromatography oil to separate thensterols fraction;n n n (b) submit to the separate sterols fractionnin step (a) to a derivatization reaction, andn n n (c) analyze the fraction of sterolsnderivatized obtained in (b) by gas chromatography;n n n in which the coupling between chromatographynliquid and gas chromatography is done through the interfacenTOTAD (Through Oven Transfer Adsorption Desorption); and in which thenderivatization reaction of step (b) is carried out in the materialnof retention included in said interface. This procedurenallows you to analyze total sterols in oils quickly,nsimple, reproducible, reliable and with hardly any manipulation of thensample, performing an online derivatization stage, with ansatisfactory repeatability. |
