A metal complex resulting from the metalation reaction of a metal salt or a precursor of formula MX4, in which M is a group 4 metal of the Periodic Table, and in which each X is the same or different and is halogen or a alkyl or benzyl group with a fluorinated alcohol-imine proligase of general formula ** (See formula) ** in which R1 is alkyl, cycloalkyl, allyl, benzyl or an aromatic group, all optionally substituted with one or more fluorinated alkyl groups , or a heteroaromatic group having a maximum of 20 carbon atoms, R210 is a hydrogen or alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl group having a maximum of 20 carbon atoms and optionally substituted with one or more fluorinated alkyl groups, R3 and R4 are each independently selected from perfluorinated alkyl groups or an aryl or substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, with the proviso that at least one of R3 and R4 is a perfluorinated alkyl group. |
