Acrylic-siloxane hybrid coating for construction materials and process of obtaining. # This invention is a product for the surface modification of substrates in order to reduce their sliding character. It consists of a water-based organic-inorganic hybrid adhesive coating, with good mechanical properties, applicable to the surface of a coating material, to reduce its slipperiness. # The obtaining procedure is a combination of two procedures: # - IPN (Interpenetrating Polymer Networks). # - Synthesis of hybrids through the sol-gel process. # The combination of these two processes for the manufacture of the product, allows the addition of a higher percentage by weight of silicon in the final formulation without producing typical phenomena of sedimentation. |
