titleOfInvention | FIBRINE GEL CONTAINING FIBROPLASTS AND EPITELIAL CELLS OF THE SCLEROCORNEAL LIMB FOR BIOINGENIERIE? EYE OF THE EYE SURFACE (CORNEA, CONJUNCTIVE AND LIMB SPLER). |
abstract | Fibrin gel containing fibroblasts and epithelial cells of the sclerocorneal limbus for bioengineering of the ocular surface (cornea, conjunctiva and sclerocorneal limbus). # An autologous fibrin gel comprising fibroblasts and epithelial cells of the sclerocorneal limbus (niche of the stem cells of the cornea) and a method of preparation thereof comprising: culturing fibroblasts and epithelial cells of the sclerocorneal limbus, resuspending the cultured fibroblasts in a blood plasma solution, adding an antifibrinolytic agent to the mixture, polymerizing the mixture, sowing the mixture in a container of sterile culture and sow epithelial cells cultured on top of the mixture. This gel can be used in the preparation of drugs for use in the treatment of degenerative, inflammatory or genetic diseases of the ocular surface or, even, in those same diseases for which this technique would also be used as tissue engineering. |
