A tissue locating device comprising: at least one locator element (200, 205, 912, 992) adapted to penetrate the tissue, the locator element having a proximal part (210), generally straight, and a distal anchoring part (220), which is constructed and arranged to form a generally linear or flat configuration when received in a restriction member (300) and assume a generally curvilinear configuration around a target region after deployment from the restriction member, characterized by that the distal anchor portion comprises a tape having a rectangular cross section, to provide a flat surface against which a surgeon can cut when cleaving a volume of tissue contained by the deployed distal anchor portion. |
