abstract A coating, paint or finish material containing an oxidatively drying film former, and, as a skin-forming inhibitor, a combination comprising a) an organic oxygen scavenger of the general formula in which R 1 and R 2 mutually and independently represent hydrogen, a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C20 aliphatic molecule or radical, which may be optionally mono- or polysubstituted, or a C6-C12 aryl molecule or radical, a molecule or C7-C14 araliphatic radical, or a C5-C7 cycloaliphatic molecule or radical, b) an alkylamine of formula (II) in which R 3, R 4 and R 5 can be mutually and independently hydrogen, but all three cannot they can be hydrogen, a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched C1-C20 aliphatic molecule or radical, which may be optionally mono- or polysubstituted, or a C6-C12 aryl molecule or radical, an araliphatic radical or molecule d and C7-C14, or a C5-C7 cycloaliphatic molecule or radical, and c) an alkylalkanolamine of formula (III) in which R 6 and R 8 can mutually and independently be hydrogen, but both cannot be hydrogen, a molecule or linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C20 aliphatic radical, which may optionally be mono- or polysubstituted, a C6-C12 aryl radical, a C7-C14 araliphatic molecule or radical, or a C5- cycloaliphatic molecule or radical C7, and R 7 may be a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C1-C20 aliphatic radical or molecule, which may optionally be mono- or polysubstituted, or an aryl radical or molecule of C6-C12, an araliphatic radical or molecule of C7-C14, or a C5-C7 cycloaliphatic molecule or radical.
