abstract | Procedure for determining platelet function in a whole blood sample, where the procedure comprises the following steps: a) conduction of blood through a capillary and, subsequently, through an opening of a separation element containing, at least one thrombocyte activator of the adenosine receptor activator group; and b) measurement of the time necessary for the formation of a thrombus in the opening of the separation element until the closure of said opening; characterized in that before passing through the capillary, the whole blood sample is mixed with prostaglandin E1 in a final concentration of 11 to 13 nM or with forskolin in a final concentration of 0.1 to 5 μM. |
