titleOfInvention SYSTEM THAT ALLOWS TO POSITION A CONNECTION ELEMENT ADJECTIVE TO THE VERTEBRAL COLUMN IN LOW INVASIVE PROCEDURES.
abstract A spinal surgical system (40), comprising: a first extender (50) extending between a proximal end and a distal end, said distal end can be detachably attached to a first anchor (120) that can be attached to the spine, said first extender (50) that includes a passage (58) that extends at least partially through it and opens at said distal end, said first extender (50) that includes an inlet opening (66) on one side thereof in combination with said passage (58) and an elongate groove along the other part thereof opposed to said inlet opening (66), said elongated groove which is in communication with said passage (58) and which opens to said distal end; a second extender (150) extending between a proximal end and a distal end, said distal end that can be detachably attached to a second anchor (120) that can be attached to the spine, said second extender (150) which includes a passage (58) that extends at least partially therethrough and that opens at said distal end, said second extender (150) that includes an elongated groove on one side thereof in communication with said passage (58) , said elongated slot of said second extender (150) that can be aligned with said elongated slot of said first extender (50); and a connector element (100) locatable through said inlet opening (66) of said first extender (50) and in a position that extends between said passages (58) of said first and second extenders (150) through said elongate grooves of said first and second extenders (150); wherein at least one of said extenders includes a fastener (52) defining said passage (58), said fastener (52) can be detachably secured with one of the respective first and second anchors (120), characterized in that said at least one of said extenders also includes an actuator (70) located around said fastener (52) and movable along it to tilt said fastener (52) in the fastener with said respective anchor where said fastening element (52) includes a pair of opposite legs (55) separated from one another by a pair of opposite grooves, said grooves each including a terminal proximal end spaced apart from a proximal end of said fastener element ( 52); wherein said actuator (70) includes a tubular body that can be located on said clamping element (52), said tubular body defining at least one groove that extends along the same aligned with one of said grooves of said element for securing (52) to form said elongated groove of said at least one of said extenders.
