A method for assessing liver function in an individual, such method comprises determining (a) the combined level of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) and symmetric dimethylarginine (SDMA), and (b) the ratio of albumin modified by ischemia (IMA): albumin (IMAR) in the individual and where the method is carried out in a sample of the individual, in this way the liver function in the individual is evaluated. |
