A cationic surfactant obtained from the condensation of fatty acids and esterified dibasic amino acids, according to the following formula (2): where: - X is Br -, Cl - or HSO4, a counter ion derived from an organic or inorganic acid , or an anion based on a phenolic compound; R1: is a linear alkyl chain of a saturated fatty acid or hydroxy acid of 8 to 14 carbon atoms attached to the α-amino group through an amide bond; R2: is a straight or branched alkyl chain of 1 to 18 carbon atoms or an aromatic group; R3: is o and n can be an integer from 0 to 4, for use in treating viral infections. |
