titleOfInvention PERFUSION BAG WITH INTEGRATED RINSE.
abstract Flexible bag for medical use, for an infusion of a gravity medication, comprising an access (4) intended to be connected to a perfusion line, comprising: - at least a first and a second compartment (1, 2) the first compartment (1) being intended to contain a medicament in the form of a solution and the second compartment (2) being intended to contain a rinse solute, the rinse solute being intended to rinse the first compartment (1) and the perfusion line (10); and - means for separating / communicating said compartments (1, 2) comprising: -a communication channel between the first and second compartments (1, 2), and - a breakable device (3) designed to ensure the tightness between the first and second compartments (1, 2) before its break and allow communication between the first and second compartments (1, 2) after its break, through the communication channel, the bag being characterized by: - the first and second compartments (1, 2) are juxtaposed and separated by an essentially vertical wall (7); - the communication channel is located at the top of the wall (7), when the bags are suspended vertically; - said compartments comprise means intended to prevent the total sealing of the flow path of the rinse solute when the bag is flattened; and because the communication channel is formed to, from a bag whose first and second compartments (1, 2) have been filled respectively by the medicine and the rinse solute, allow the transfer of the rinse solute, contained in the second compartment (2) towards the first compartment (1), by siphon effect under the effect of a depression that is established at the end of the infusion and induced by the height of the water column of the perfusion line (10), when the First compartment (1) is practically empty.
