titleOfInvention | PROCEDURE FOR THE PREPARATION OF SAMPLES OF CONTROL OF SUCH PARTICLES AS MICROORGANISMS AND CELLS. |
abstract | Method for the automatic preparation of samples containing a predetermined number of desired cells or microorganisms comprising: providing a particle separator under software control; providing a collection apparatus that has a receptacle or surface that retains the cells or microorganisms, in which the particle separator and the collection apparatus are in electronic communication via a modified computer mouse circuit that has a button switch bridged by an optocoupler; separating a predetermined number of the desired cells or microorganisms by the particle separator; and distributing the predetermined number of cells or microorganisms by the particle separator in the receptacle or on the surface of the collection apparatus according to a signal from the collection apparatus; in which the signal is sent from the collection device to the particle separator by means of the modified computer mouse circuit that activates the software that controls the particle separator through an acquisition function button of the separator control software particles so that when a signal has been received the predetermined number of cells or microorganisms is administered within the receptacle or on the surface that is placed for long enough to collect the cells or microorganisms by means of the collecting apparatus, and in which Following the collection of the cells or microorganisms the collection apparatus advances and places a receptacle or back surface to receive the subsequent cells or microorganisms, the collecting apparatus then indicating the particle separator by means of the computer mouse circuit modified to start otr distribution or predetermined number of cells or microorganisms, in which the particle separator is a flow cytometer. |
