abstract Method of production of nor-triterpenes methylene quinones from in vitro cultures of plants. The present invention relates to a method of in vitro culture of germinated plant explants from seeds, and / or plant explants preferably from Maytenus canariensis to increase the production of methylene quinone nor-triterpenes from cultures in suspension of cell lines extracted from said explants. Furthermore, the present invention demonstrates the influence of the culture media as well as the treatment with different elicitors in the increase in the in vitro production of methylene quinone nor-triterpenes.
