abstract Valve prostheses (300) comprising a support structure (308) and a plurality of flexible polymeric leaflets (302, 304) attached to the support structure, the support structure presenting a plurality of commissures and recesses between the supports of commissures, in which at the point along the recesses closest to the inlet edge, the flexible polymeric leaflets 10 are joined with the support structure forming an angle (8) oriented towards the inlet edge between approximately 5 degrees and approximately 85 degrees with respect to the normal plane to the axis of the valve prosthesis, characterized in that the support structure is made by, or is coated with, the same polymeric material as the leaflets, the leaflets being made directly together with the structure of support, and because the valve has a rest position with a light 20 that is at least 10 percent of the light fully open.
