NMR-based method for identifying ligands that bind to a target that is a biomolecule, said method comprising a) hyperpolarizing at least one ligand or a target, wherein said ligand or said target is selectively enriched with active nuclei in 13 C and / or 15 N NMR; b) forming a contact mixture of at least one hyperpolarized ligand with a target, or with a target and at least one additional ligand, or contacting the hyperpolarized target with at least one ligand, c) generating an NMR spectrum of the mixture and d) comparing said NMR spectrum with a reference spectrum of at least one hyperpolarized ligand or hyperpolarized target, respectively. |
