In particular, the present invention relates to a composition composed of a species of predatory phytoseid mite selected from among the species Amblyseius montdorensis (Schicha), Typhlodromalus lailae Schicha, (= Typhlodromalus limonicus ) and Amblyseius largoensis (Muma), preferably Amblyseius montdorensis , and a factitious host of the order Astigmata, Acarus siro , Linnaeus, 1758, to the breeding procedure of said predator and to the use of said composition in biological control applications, especially in tomato crops.
