Edible film to quench hunger with partially rapid dissolution in water and containing fibers that swell in the presence of water, comprising between 4% and 40% of at least one starch high in amylopectin, between 5% and 50 % of at least one cellulose selected from the group comprising hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl cellulose and carboxymethyl cellulose, characterized in that it comprises between 1% and 60% of at least one inflatable natural food fiber but insoluble in water and selected from the group consisting of high molecular weight chitosan and high molecular weight glucomannan, the percentages by weight being on a dry basis. |
