COMPOSITE OSEA MEDULA GRAFT MATERIAL WITH METHOD AND KIT. |
abstract |
A composite bone marrow graft material comprising a biocompatible implantable porous matrix and clot material, said composite bone marrow graft material having an enriched population of progenitor cells, and a heterogeneous population of nucleated cells supplied from a volume of bone marrow aspirate that has been flowed through it, said matrix having a porosity sufficient to produce an increase of at least 2 times in the total surface area of the matrix available for adhesion of progenitor cells with respect to a solid not porous that has identical external dimensions. |
