abstract | Lubricating oil recovery processnused with clay and centrifugation.n n n A process for oil recoverynused lubricants and recovered oils using the process. In anFirst modality (for use in industrial oils), the oilnlubricant mixed with clay in a reactor. The mix isnpreferably heated between a temperature between 80 and 200 ° Cnpresent in the used oil. The use temperature should notnreach more than 150ºC to avoid "cacking" of the oil, it isnsay the breakdown of molecular chains. After a certainnperiod of time, the mixture is pumped into a filter, wherenform a cake, which retains the clay with contaminantsnadsorbed, while the oil is free of contaminants.n n n A second modality (to remove soot ornashes, that is, very fine particles of coal, and othersnorganic compounds from the used oils of thenexplosion engines) is the same as in the first mode,nexcept that before the mixture is passed through the filters,nit is centrifuged to separate the oil contaminated with clay andnsoot, thus ensuring that the filters will not block. |
