A stabilized aqueous ophthalmic composition adapted for topical administration once a day to the eye consisting of an ascomycin and at least one polymer selected from i) a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene co-polymer or block co-polymer, and ii) a homo - or acrylic acid co-polymer wherein said homo- or acrylic acid co-polymer is crosslinked; and a tonicity enhancing agent such as a buffer, and a preservative. |
