abstract A system for implanting a prosthesis, comprising: a delivery device (600), which in turn has: a handle (670, 672, 674, 676, 678); an inner lumen (620, 640), slidably disposed on said handle (670, 672, 674, 676, 678) between a retracted position and an extended position, said inner lumen (620, 640) having a distal end, and a tube (632) at said distal end of said inner lumen (620, 640); an intermediate lumen (642, 644, 654), arranged in sliding mode around said inner lumen (620, 640), and having a distal end; a prosthetic liner of relative flexibility (652), connected to said distal end of said intermediate lumen (642, 644, 654); and an outer lumen of relative stiffness (600), axially fixed to said handle (670, 672, 674, 676, 678) around said intermediate lumen (642, 644, 654), characterized in that the length of said outer lumen is the enough just to insert it into a patient's aorta, not beyond the patient's celiac axis.
