titleOfInvention CONTAINER FOR WASHING AND STERILIZED ENDOSCOPES.
abstract An endoscope container (102) for sterilizing an endoscope (10) having a body (12), and first and second flexible tubes (14, 16) fixed to the body, the endoscope container comprising: a reception space (116) adapted to receive such an endoscope (10) in an orientation with the first flexible tube (14) that hangs vertically downwards from the endoscope body (12), in which the reception space (116) comprises a first space (118) descending down adapted to receive the first flexible tube (14) of the endoscope descending down, and a second space (120) descending down, separated from the first space (118) descending down, by a support surface (240), and adapted to receive the second flexible tube (16) the downward endoscope; an inlet fluid connector (122), in fluid communication with the reception space (116), and having a closure to isolate the reception space from the outside environment through the inlet fluid connector; and an outlet fluid connector (126), in fluid communication with the receiving space (116) and having a closure to isolate the reception space from the outside environment through the outlet fluid connector; the reception space (116) of the outside environment being sealed, such that an endoscope can be sterilized by passing fluid through the reception space (116) through the inlet and outlet fluid connectors (122, 126) and when stored there in an orientation with the first and second flexible tubes (14, 16) descending downwards, and in a sterile way when being protected against the entry of potentially contaminating microorganisms, characterized in that the endoscope container (102) also comprises movement means adapted to move the support surface (240; 242) during a sterilization procedure, to thereby reduce occlusions; and because the support surface (242) is adapted to rotate.
