abstract An apparatus for simultaneously infusing flavors in cereal grains and agglomerating said grains giving a unit food product, the apparatus comprising a mixer (26) of ingredients with at least one feeder (32) for depositing individual cereal grains in the mixer, at least a feeder (38) for depositing powder flavors in the mixer, and at least one conduit (50) for liquids including a sprayer (52) to moisten the grains and flavors in the mixer, including the mixer an element (30) for mixing said ingredients, and at least one discharge tube (63) having an outlet portion for delivering mixed ingredients to a product forming chamber (72) defined in a chamber plate (70); and at least one energy transfer unit that includes a converter (90) for transforming electrical energy into ultrasonic vibrations; an enhancer (92) mechanically coupled to the converter (90), and an ultrasonic tool (94) mechanically fixed to the enhancer (92), the tool having external walls configured to fit the chamber (72), and portions of interior walls that define a cavity of the product forming tool, the plate and the tool being removable from each other, whereby, when the converter (90) is operated with the tool (94) inside the chamber (72), The cavity in the ultrasonic tool confines and compresses the ingredients in the chamber to form a flavored cereal unit product.
